Le Petit Chapel is a pretty, sunny gite. As the name suggests it is a 15th century chapel used by the local residents when the church in Chaunay burned down during the French revolution.
Located on the very southern tip of Vienne it has been renovated to a very high standard and provides an ideal base for walking, cycling, birdwatching, fishing as well as being only one hour from the fabulous resort of La Rochelle.
The original building dates back to 1792 and still has the original stone chapel window and oak lintel. The accommodation comprises, spacious lounge area, fully equipped kitchen with hob and built in oven, bathroom, 2 good size bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and a mezzanine bedroom with double bed.
In the current economic climate we all need a break and rather than holidaying in England with the unpredictable weather we would like to offer you a holiday in "Le Petit Chapel" for less than you would pay for a comparable holiday in England.
