This two bedroomed, well equipped, detached cottage is a converted farm building adjacent to the owner's restored 17th Century farmhouse and accommodates 4-6 guests in comfort. It is set in 4.5 acres of well maintained grounds amidst beautiful, quiet countryside overlooking the valley of the River Semnon and 1km from the sleepy village of Soulvache.

The open plan ground floor comprises a comfortable sitting area with wood burning stove, TV and DVD player, dining area and fully fitted kitchen with gas cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine. French doors lead to a large paved patio and garden with lovely views over open farmland. It is equipped with furniture and barbeque for relaxed outdoor meals.

On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with two single beds. Both are able to accommodate a further single bed if required. A travel cot is available on request (also high chair and pushchair). The bathroom has WC, washbasin, bath and shower.

The open air, solar heated swimming pool is 11m by 5m and is available from May to October. The pool is set in a locked self contained enclosure which conforms to the French safety regulations for the protection of young children. Guests are supplied with their own key. The enclosed area also contains garden, children's paddling pool and two large paved areas, furnished with tables, chairs and sun-loungers. There are plenty of grassed areas for ball games and we have table tennis, badminton/volleyball net, boules and Breton palets. The garden is well stocked with colourful trees, shrubs and flower beds.

Just 12km from Chateaubriant with its lively Wednesday market and good shops it is ideally situated for exploring both the Western Loire and Brittany. It is easily reached from the ferry ports of St. Malo, Cherbourg and Caen.

The locality is good for sightseeing, walking, bird-watching, angling, golf, horse riding and karting.

Prices are inclusive of electricity, gas and winter fuel. Bed linen and kitchen towels are provided but not personal towels for bathroom and swimming pool.
