The Orchard Studio has been furnished for couples who want comfort and privacy. It is entered via the large, private garden and west facing terrace. On the terrace there is a table and 2 chairs for outside dining, a gas barbecue and 2 sunloungers. There is a small swimming pool for sole use of occupants.

The kitchen is well equipped for your holiday needs and comes with a 4 ring gas hob and electric oven, extractor fan, fridge with freezer box, toaster, kettle and coffee filter, there is also plenty of cooking utensils.

The living area has a two seater sofa, 2 arm chairs, a coffee table, book shelf with holiday reading, maps and local info, a cd/radio player, there is also a log burning fire for early and late season lets.

The sleeping area has a comfortable double bed with bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe and drawers. The 2 south facing windows look out over the garden and open countryside.

Locally, there is so much to do and see.

Many of the surrounding villages have weekly open-air markets, these offer a great chance to buy local, fresh produce.

At least one of the magnificent Cathar Castles of Queribus, Peyrepertuse or Puilaurens should be visited, as well as;

• The mysterious Rennes le chateau.
• The well preserved Salse le chateau.
• The Roman aquaduct, still used during the summer months for irrigation.
• The Gorge de Galamus and its simple church carved into the rock face.
• The tourist train winding through spectacular scenery.

For people who enjoy walking, there are many walks around the village of Fosse and surrounding area. The village has a large open-air pool, available July and August. The nearest village of Caudies is approx 8km away. Here you will find a restaurant/bar, butchers, bakers, minimarket, a bar which serves simple food and a pizza van with wood fired oven on Monday evenings. The larger village of St Paul is approx 15 mins drive and offers all the above shops and a larger supermarket, petrol station and bank.

The nearest beaches are about 1 hrs drive as are the nearest ski slopes. Nearest airport is Perpignan then Carcassonne then Girona, Barcelona, Toulouse Airlines include Ryanair, BMI baby, Flybe, Jet2, Easyjet.
