La Maison du Jardinier is a fairy tale cottage, refurbished in 2006, that we are sure the young at heart will fall in love with. There is a bedroom and bathroom at ground floor level, whilst the fully fitted kitchen and living room are at first floor level. This holiday gite is designed for two people, but there is a sofa bed in the living room and space for a child's bed.

This self catering holiday gite in Brittany is suitable for couples, possibly with a small child, for whom an extra bed or cot will be provided. The sofa bed in the living room is available for additional visitors. The bedroom has a southerly and slightly elevated aspect, with french windows. The fully tiled shower room has a generous sized walk in shower (wet room style) together with a wash hand basin and wc.
The open plan kitchen, accessed via the stairwell, has units made of pear wood and with a charcoal laminate worktop and polished deep aluminium edge trim. The kitchen is fitted with an integral fridge with freezer compartment, Miele integral dishwasher, an electric oven, and ceramic induction hob. The kitchen has lovely views to the North, East and South of the gite.
Leading from the kitchen, and with additional external access via charming stone steps, the living room and dining room are one and the same with views to the North, East South and West of the gardens and surrounding parkland. Decorated in subtle colours of green and grey this is a relaxing place to be in, and is fitted with a delightful little wood burning stove set in the delft tiled fireplace. The cottage also has a radio with CD player and a washing machine.
Linen and towels for use in the gite are provided and we would ask that you bring your own bathing towels for pool side and beach use.
The cottage is centrally heated and fitted with smoke detectors, a carbon monoxide alarm and fire extinguishers plus blanket. It has mains electricity, water and drainage and an inventory that exceeds most expectations. The provision of cots, high chairs, changing mats, children's crockery and cutlery, stair gate and baby monitor are inclusive.
The gite has its own little garden, with table, chairs, parasol, loungers and barbeque, set in an area overlooking the park. Visitors have the full use of the extensive park and gardens. Here is the opportunity to take a quiet evening walk or to enjoy the shade provided by our lovely old trees to read or paint. We have an enclosed swimming pool (summer only) which provides a chance for the active holiday maker to cool off from the heat of the sun. Pool side recliners are provided for sunbathing. You may enjoy a gentle game of croquet on the lawn, badminton in the park, or chase a football around the grounds. We have a beautifully decorated chapel ideal for quiet reflection.
