Mémanat Cottage is situated within the peaceful and tranquil grounds of Château de Mémanat with its 50 acres of mature parkland, meadows and beautiful woodland on the slopes down to the river Taurion.
The fully equipped Cottage is ideal for a couple, and features a comfortable sitting room with exposed beams, a large granite fireplace with log-burning stove and an open staircase. There is a well equipped dining kitchen with ceramic sink, fridge/freezer, cooker, dishwasher and microwave.
The shower room has a modern suite and a washing machine, whilst the bedroom is very large having a double bed and twin single beds with a room divider.
Outside, the cottage has a private south facing stone terrace with garden furniture and barbecue facility provided. Alternatively, the leisure area contains a 30ft x 20ft heated swimming pool.
Château de Mémanat is situated in the heart of the Creuse in the beautiful Limousin countryside, which is renowned for its beautiful wooded hills, lakes and small sleepy villages.
Memanat is an ideal location for discovering the delights of the region. Enjoy walking, cycling or horse riding on the quiet country lanes, in the woods or by the many rivers and lakes. Visit local chateaux and other historical sites or take in the markets at Aubusson, Bourganeuf and Felletin for traditional French fare. The cities of Limoges and Montlucon are about an hours drive.
