One bedroom apartment in a pretty village in the Gard-Cevennes department of the Languedoc region in Southern France.

This one bedroom apartment in Genolhac, is right in the centre of the village and close to all amenities. The accomodation is on the second floor of a beautiful historic building and consists of a lounge, bedroom with window overlooking the square, kitchenette and shower room.
The flat is heated using electric convector heaters. On the ground floor there is a further room which can be used for storage and a laundry area. There is a paved area at the front of the building that could be used for alfresco dining and also the property is opposite a small village square with a fountain where there are tables and chairs belonging to the bar/restaurant, in summer months.

The surrounding area is absoutely breathtaking and this flat would make a perfect base for anyone wishing to explore the region. Genolhac is a recognised centre for hiking and long distance walking and with mild winters and warm sunny summers, it is an ideal area to experience the best of what France has to offer.

The apartment can be easily reached with or without a car and the SNCF station is a few minutes walk away. The station connects to several larger towns as well as the TGV at Nimes for easy access to Paris and the Eurostar at Paris or Lille.

The rent is 350€ EUR per month, payable quarterly in advance for a minimum period of 3 months plus utilities, which are very reasonable in this part of France. Short lets can also be arranged at 275€ EUR per week.
