Long Term Lets, Corsica
Corsica is one of France's regions and is the fourth largest island in the Mediterranean, located 56 miles west of Italy and 105 miles south of France, covering 3351 square miles. The interior is mountainous and Mount Cinto is the highest peak at 8892 feet above sea level. Corsica offers a moderate Mediterranean climate, beautiful scenery and its magnificent coastline is breathtaking.
The west coast is mostly rocky and indented while the eastern coastal plain of Aleria, is sprinkled with lagoons and swamps.
